Coweta
High
School's
first pep assembly of the 2007-2008 school year is scheduled
for Thursday, September 20th at 1:30
p.m.
and will be held on Tiger Field. This will be a
multi-school assembly, with students in grades 5-12 in
attendance.
Students, teachers, and staff from the Intermediate
GradeCenter,
Junior High, and High School will be escorted to the stadium
by the CHS Pride Marching Band. Alumni and community
members are invited to attend as well.
In
addition to performances by the IGC, JH, and HS Cheerleaders,
Marching Band, and other student groups, the 2007
CHS Homecoming Court
will be recognized during the assembly on the
20th.
Immediately
following the pep assembly, a Homecoming Bash will
be held at the stadium to celebrate "Bash the Braves"
Week. Students
from IGC, JH, and HS bus riders will return to their
respective schools to catch their bus or ride home but are
welcome to later return to the stadium for the Homecoming
Bash. All students, parents, teachers, staff,
alumni, and community members are invited to attend. Admission is free and
activities will include a dunk tank, car bash, face painting,
inflatables, concessions, and a cookout. The Homecoming Bash is
scheduled for 3:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
at Tiger Field.
Homecoming
festivities will be conducted pre-game beginning at
7:00
p.m.
on Friday, September 21st. Kick-Off is scheduled
for 7:30
p.m.
with the Coweta Tigers hosting their district foe, the Tulsa
Central Braves.
