Coweta Chamber of Commerce
The Vision Homes are finished!! Yeah!! Press Release
If you don't know about the Vision Homes, here is a little update.
 Vision Home

Last year I heard from my aunt Jill VanTuyl, a realtor, that there was a few city lots I could buy at a good price because the people needed to sell very quickly.  I thought that sounded great, but questioned why.  She said something about their house being condemned and they thought with the money made from the sell of their property they could buy some land in the country, and build a home for their family and their adult child with a family, because that family also lived in a house on the city lots.  Anyway, to make a long story short, I knew there was no way that would be possible, and the more I talked to Jill about it the more I had a suspicion I went to school with two of the family members.  I immediately called my pastor Allen Carson, and told him I thought we should do another Vision Home, but on a much larger scale than last time.  This time we built two homes!  It has been a long process, but because of many wonderful people and businesses in this town (Coweta) we have done it!  We will be handing over the keys to them Wed.  The best way I can describe it is Extreme Home Makeover, Coweta style!  We are very proud of our community.

'This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but it is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.  Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.  And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.  Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!' 2 Corinthians 9:12-15
